These Summertime S’mores started out as Homemade Mallomars. We ate them before they made it into the refrigerator, so they were soft and gooey, just like S’mores made by the fire. Thank you for the idea, Chocolate Covered Katie.
Chocolate chips – I used Ghirardelli semi-sweet.
The only cooking involved is the melting of the chocolate in a double boiler. It is an option to melt the chocolate in the microwave, but be careful – the chocolate can “seize” and then, it’s ruined. I prefer to melt it in a double boiler.
While you are melting the chocolate, place the graham cracker halves on parchment or waxed paper. Place a small rounded scoop of Fluff on top of each graham cracker, (periodically checking the melted chocolate ) then drizzle the melted chocolate and you’re finished. You have in front of you, the best S’mores you will ever have. YOU’RE WELCOME!Print This Post
I’m so excited for your Creative Camp! Wish I could be there! Please take lots of pics. Those lucky campers – they will be fed well!
A few years ago you sent me a link about Camp, remember?
WELL Carrie, I’m finally hosting a creative day camp on August 3rd and so now after reading your post, guess what’s gonna be on the menu??
They are as delicious as she claims them to be!
