I have read too many articles on how unhealthy sitting all day at a desk is (here, here. and here) and I sit at my desk all day! According to Olivia Judson from the New York Times, “It doesn’t matter if you go running every morning, or you’re a regular at the gym, if you spend most of the rest of the day sitting — in your car, your office chair, on your sofa at home — you are putting yourself at increased risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, a variety of cancers and an early death.” It actually scares me and I just ordered a standing desk for myself. Many of them are very expensive, but I found one that is incredibly well priced.
