Summer is finally here and it’s time to go for a bike ride. When I was a kid, although my mom didn’t work, we never expected her to take us anywhere. Usually, we just got on our bikes and rode into town, to a friend’s, even to the beach in the summer months. I truly loved riding my bicycle; the freedom of getting where I wanted to, when I wanted to, the wind in my hair, the exhaustion of riding over the bridge to Atlantic Beach. I remember when I got my first job and started saving money, I saved enough for a new bicycle. It was a champagne colored Raleigh. Ok, enough reminiscing.
It’s blatantly obvious these Faraday Bicycles are extraordinarily good looking. But what makes them droolworthy is that they are also electric. The award-winning Faraday Porteur looks and feels like a premium city bike, but it performs in a class of its own. An electric bike that lets you work as much, or as little, as you want. Treehugger.com says “It really is the prettiest electric assist bicycle you will ever see.” Laser engraved trim, wood fenders, and a custom aluminum chainguard – subtle reminders that this is no ordinary bicycle. Recharging the Faraday is as simple as plugging it into any standard outlet. You’ll have a full battery, which lasts approximately 15-20 miles, in under an hour. Of course, convenience like this is not inexpensive. I’m going to start saving now.

I am still pondering. . . one day . . .
This is a beautiful electric bike indeed. Will have to mull over getting one now.
