The Ludlow Hotel, a new (it opened in June, 2014) boutique hotel on the Lower East Side of Manhattan is winning rave reviews everywhere. Steel and glass doors, oak paneled walls, big casement windows and antique chandeliers give The Ludlow that homey-industrial vibe that has become de rigueur. Because of it’s location, The Ludlow Hotel allows you to experience the city like a true New Yorker. You can walk to bars, restaurants, music venues and, of course, great boutiques on every street. It is also only a 4 minute walk to the subway and 1.4 miles from Washington Square Park.
