Basecamp South Lake Tahoe is a boutique hotel built for exploring the incredible lakes, trails, and mountains in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, Basecamp is a short 4 minute walk to the Heavenly Gondola. Although Basecamp has all the amenities of a modern resort, it has more affordable motel-like prices.
“In April of 2011, Basecamp Founder Christian Strobel lamented the fact that there are no high style but affordable hotels that embody the spirit of exploration. They wanted to build a hotel reflecting the ideals of a base camp, a place where people can come together to share stories and exchange tips before heading out on their adventure. With the help of designer Elaine Cotter, they turned their vision into a stylish reality.” Even though you would definitely not call me an explorer, I think I could have a lot of fun staying here!

Yes, Claudia, it is WordPress. The interface is relatively easy to use, compared to some others. Good luck!
Currently it sounds like WordPress is the preferred blogging
platform available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you are using on your blog?
Thanks, Andrea! Would love to go there one day . . .
Hey Carrie another beauty. I went to Lake Tahoe many years ago and stayed in Heavenly Valley on a ski trip. It is a beautiful place.
