Lake Powell

When our youngest was 8 weeks old, we went to Lake Powell – it will always be my favorite family vacation of all time. Besides the natural beauty of what was all around us at all times, the uniqueness of the vacation exists because there is no need to get dressed to leave a hotel room. You can stay in your pajamas all day, if you like. It was definitely not a glamorous vacation, but it was easily the most memorable and the most relaxing. Every day was breathtaking. It might seem kind of a funny time to post about a summer family vacation now – in the middle of winter, but the time to start planning your family summer vacation is NOW! FYI: We rented a houseboat from Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas.
