I am a napper. I come from a long line of nappers and I’m proud to say “I love my naps!” Did you know there is a right way and a wrong way to nap? Most people do it all wrong. The best way, coincidentally my way, is called the coffee nap. A coffee nap is scientifically proven to be the most effective. A coffee nap generally refers to when a person snoozes briefly (15-20 minutes) after a nice cup of coffee. Coffee naps are more effective than napping or just drinking coffee alone since it takes caffeine about 20 minutes to hit your brain and activate. It’s the perfect time to nap. Upon waking, the caffeine has kicked in and that grogginess often associated with longer naps just isn’t there. And just like that, you can be a successful napper, too!
