Ca la Maria Barcelona is a unique, boutique Bed and Breakfast in Barcelona with 6 rooms, 1 terrace, 13 contemporary works of art, 8 local wines, 27 local products and 91 family recipes. It is located in the Eixample district which makes it an ideal place to stay for those looking to be in proximity to the city, but at the same time want some peace and quiet. At Ca La Maria, architect Maria Inglada has renovated her parents’ 1920s-era apartment into accommodations that serve as a revolving exhibition space for her family’s noted collection of contemporary art. The breakfasts, prepared by Maria as well, are said to be plentiful, delicious and all locally sourced. Last, but certainly not least, the reviews on all the travel websites are “exceptional “. I am not someone who needs to travel, I am more of a homebody. BUT I DESPERATELY WANT TO GO HERE.
