Best Hanukkah/xmas Gift Ever!

This extraordinary gingerbread house was delivered to us yesterday from the Solvang Bakery – all the way from California. My husband and I were so touched by the thoughtfulness involved as it was ordered a few months ago – first, we called the people who gifted it to us (Thank you, Marissa and Jack!) Then, we called the Solvang Bakery to tell them how it arrived perfectly and how much we love it. The packaging and wrapping were intense and quite successful – not a piece of shingle or gingerbread man was broken. My husband loves gingerbread and needed to know what was edible and what wasn’t. Everything is edible except the trees! The lovely woman we spoke to at the bakery told me they start taking orders as early as September. I’m sure this is the most thoughtful gift we’ve ever received and we can’t stop talking about it. Be prepared, they are a bit on the pricey side, but if you’re looking for that exclusive Hanukkah or Christmas gift for next year, diary it in your calendar now for next September!
