William Goldman is arguably the best screenwriter of our time:  The Princess Bride, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Misery, Marathon Man – to name a few. He sort of has a cult following. I became a follower of Goldman after reading Boys and Girls Together as a teenager. My next book of his, The Princess Bride is my favorite book of all time. Anyone who writes this line “Do I love you? My God, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches” is a genius. So yes, I am part of the William Goldman Cult. Caroline Case, also a screenwriter, created a Kickstarter because she spent the last two years filming William Goldman and interviewing 22 other people involved in his film career. She would like to raise money to finish the documentary about Goldman’s life called Nobody Knows Anything except William Goldman.  I needed to do my small part to get this film finished.  I am asking you if you’ve ever liked any of William Goldman’s work and you think it might be important to have a documentary about his life, click this link and contribute a few dollars. Thank you.
