Antico Noè – Grand Opening NYC

By guest blogger Kyra Gabrielle

This past Monday marked the grand opening of NYC’s newest sandwich hotspot. If you’re lucky enough to travel to Florence, some might say you’re lucky enough. But if you happen to have a panini from Antico Noè while you’re there, I’d say you’re even luckier.

New Yorkers now have the luxury of enjoying this Italian delicacy right within the confines of their own city. Thanks to Michael Grant and Vinny Dautaj, co-founders of the NYC location and partners in crime, Antico has been brought to NY on East 53rd Street between 2nd and 3rd Ave. Grant fell in love with Antico while spending a semester abroad in Florence and has been scheming for its expansion to America ever since. With Michael’s background in business and Vinny’s expertise in the kitchen, they have made this dream a reality. The menu features the top ten sandwiches from the original menu in Florence, and all are overwhelmingly droolworthy. I highly recommend the #9 (roasted turkey, roasted onions, brie and Antico Noè’s famous spicy sauce) and #21 (prosciutto di parma, tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella, EVOO, balsamic glaze and Antico Noè’s famous pesto sauce).

Congratulations on the opening, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for these two as they embark upon a delicious journey. Antico Noè is a new NYC landmark!

What the heck why can’t we have places like this close to home. Carrie this reminds me of the sandwiches we had when we were in San Francisco before going to Stinson Beach for Zac and Kat’s wedding. Love the post Yum

  3. Thanks, Cono! It means a lot getting your stamp of approval!
